He is both a Graduate Gemologist and a Registered Master Valuer (RMV)** personal property appraiser of fine jewelry and gems.

Joseph conducted the estate appraisal for the jewelry collection of the late Marina Svetlova, Chairwoman of the Ballet Department at Indiana University and internationally renowned ballerina.
